Dr. David Cleeton. His daughter goes to U of I, and I believe that was the main draw.

Once again, keeping us in suspense. Who is your new dept. chair?

I have a new Department Chair! I'm so excited and happy. Not sure if I had conveyed to all of you about this stressful search, but we finally have a new one. Prague will be even more relaxing now. Yay!

Well, don't keep us in suspense. How do you run a 2-sample t-test?

Sounds like a typical end of the semester rush. I have loads of students in my office asking me about how to run a 2-sample t-test. Fun!

This should be an interesting day....only 2 hours of sleep. I'm hoping it rains so I can cancel the evening weed pull at my research plots. I also hope that I remember to give the correct answers at my final exam review sessions today.

The display looks great - especially the treats. What a good way to combine community service with something you love to do. That's what I'm looking for. You're a great motivator!
raw: Yeah I think this is where you turn 29 until the end.
Final revision. No longer requires a step ladder to enter.

Home again. The accident this time only slowed me down for about 20 minutes. Evidently a semi was involved. I saw them driving it away, back was all crushed in. The load was along the side of the road.

48:53 in the Illinois 10k yesterday, with a 4th place finishing in my division 20th for sex, and 105th overall. Then, I spent the rest of the day battling a migraine. Lucky, Adam and Tena had a lot of helpful suggestions on avoiding them. BTW, Ginger Kincaid is very very cute.

It's hard to fit crafts in when there's a concert to attend one day and a first communion the next, but we managed some this evening. Actually the kids would have managed even more, but I called uncle.

Finally figured out the venue! it's at Havlickovy sady. Nathaniel and I will provide transportation between the church and the hall. There are two tram stops nearby and from one of them the trams run at least twice an hour all night. I will put up a list of hotels that are either near the reception hall or just one night-tram ride away today.
I will be on skype almost all of today and tomorrow, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to call.

I made it here only about a half hour later than I had told Sarah I would. I did sit in one place on I70 for about 45 minutes, but I just made my stop for gas a quick one and drove straight through to Moon.
Now Sarah and I are trying to figure out our trip to Prague.

Yeah, no, I definitely didn't get paid for my time lifting those logs....but then I have a log bed now...so maybe I did get paid.

The cost accountant side of me also wonders if he really factored all of his costs in that $3k quote. Lighting, heating, tool maintenance, tooling (drill bits, sand paper), morgage cost for space, vehicle maint for transportation of raw material and Finished Goods, temp labor in the form of wife/kids.

Opportunity cost is the forgone benefits of the next best alternative. That is, how would he be spending his time if he weren't building beds?

Please educate....opportunity cost of time...or is that something Frankie will learn in microecon next fall?

I don't know how long it's taking him, but I'm guessing Frank is underestimating his opportunity cost of time.

Hahahaha, one of his friends asked if he was going to go into business making and selling log beds. Frank said he'd have to charge about $3000 a bed for as long as it took him.

which part are you lucky for? Having a bed to sleep on, having your garage back, getting to see and do more activities with your husband now?
