New rule: you can have as much hot cocoa as you want provided you dont drink coffee. Days without coffee: 1. Cups of hot cocoa: 3.

Jan Brewer left a message on our answering machine. She should have called sooner, though I'm not sure it would have made a difference. I had no idea Arizona cared so much about Montana's interests.

Home at last. It was an interesting day -- sirens going off at Hobby as I was putting my shoes back on (rather a slow response from the TSA workers to keep everyone in the area). Three hours in Atlanta airport is way too long. It gives the airline time to make four gate changes for your flight. At least the last three were on the same concourse. The flight to Peoria was delayed, but we ended up arriving only about half an hour later than scheduled.
It was a fun week in Houston, good to be home too though.

or it's a possible hard drive failure...
Maybe try hooking the hard drive up to a different computer as a "secondary" drive. (Possible the boot sector has failed.) If that works, yank the data you need off the hard drive quick.

Sandy Mom is at the airport likely starting to board her flight. It was an excellent visit, ending with a fun afternoon with Payton's Brownie troop Bayou Bend gardens then watched two super softball games.

Lauren put on a great show for the last softball game I'll see for this season. She even took part in all three outs for one inning.
I got to see Payton play too this afternoon. She's looking good too.

Calling all computer super agents!
I was receiving a "PXE - E61 : Media Test Failure, Check Cable" error that was stopping my PC from booting. In an obviously futile attempt to be somewhat self-reliant, I went on-line and found instances where ALLEGEDLY disabling the network boot on the BIOS menu had apparently solved this problem for people. So I followed those instructions (at least I think I did) and, from a positive standpoint, I am no longer receiving the PXE error. Unfortunately, I now only have a small blinking cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Additionally at this juncture, I cannot access the BIOS screen upon rebooting to undo what I done did. I tried pulling the battery out of the CMOS and have succeeding in making it 2004 but little else.
Once the problem is resolved, if possible, we will go through a rigorous analysis of the poor choices I've made in this endeavor. Until then, any help is appreciated...

I really love that Sandy dressed up as a hurricane. How creative! Dylan did not dress up, but he does thoroughly enjoy his new harness and wagon. This weekend we practice pulling stuff.
we are more on the chapters like: 'Don't ride your bike while eating a snow cone'.

congratulations LO - that is a very important job. Let me know if you need any training on Lock-Out-Tag out, cleared space around panels, fire extinguishers, hoist safety etc. Also, I think Rita may have a presentation on confined space entry. Does any of this help?
