I'm back to hoping I'll be looking decent in a couple of weeks after the treatment so hopefully I'll be up for travel again in early August if anyone is looking for company, or I would definitely be up for someone coming to visit me.

Definitely pays to get a second opinion. The ointment the skin doctor wanted me to use cost $735 and my insurance wouldn't pay anything on it according to the pharmacy in town. Took it to Walgreens today, they ran it and said I'd have to pay $60 (as opposed to $10 for the cheaper medicine).
It's a difference of three days worth of treatments opposed to two to three months of them. I'll pay the extra to get it over and done with.

Haha! I think I may get kicked out of this family yet. Daniela bought cribbage to take with her for Abuelita Silvia and her to play with, but when they asked me to help explain how to play I couldn't even help them after I tried to read the instructions.

Took the girls up to Frazier Lake this weekend.

Back home in Mt. Pulaski after a trip to Little Rock to return Lauren and Payton to their folks. Sort of missing their talking and laughing here.

Hm, our fireworks didn't get started until about 10:30 pm. Too light out up here. Also did a float down the Madison river. That's always fun.

Good fourth in Mt. Pulaski -- garage sales, water balloon fights, playing in the pool, Uncle Matthew grilling out, kids parade around the square, ice cream at the dairy bar and finally fireworks. I'm not sure about the girls, but grandma is beat.

Lauren has been doing most of the wagon pulling. They have to use it every time we take a walk.
We started the garage sales today. Hope we have room for it all in the car.
