But the real reason I wanted to post was this gem, found in an article describing how the Olive Garden had some of the saltiest meal offerings tested:

Rich Jeffers, spokesman for Darden, the parent company of Olive Garden, objected to the list, saying it's out of date.

"They're using data from 2013," Jeffers said. "We're reducing sodium and calories across our menus by 10 percent by 2016"

Now I want to see an article comparing the best meals of 2016.

Things I learned recently:
Car dealers will over-inflate tires purely for appearance, well past the safe limits for the vehicle and the tire itself. They are supposed to deflate the tires as part of "dealer prep", but may easily forget this step.

The plural of oxymoron is oxymora.

Things Tycho has learned recently:
Drooling. Saying "pthbbbbt". Saying "pthbbbbt" while drooling. How to shout loudly without crying. What all of his toys, drool rags, paper towels, carriers, and sleeves taste like.

I'm back from the OBX. Highly recommend it if you get the chance. Very nice to disconnect from reality and reconnect with the cousins for a week.
